Hangouts On Air - Broadcast for free
Today is the day! Keaau Elementary will be going to Kilauea. First stop is a chat with Matt Patrick who works with the USGS at the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. Then the kids will take us to the rim of the volcano (as long as the mifi holds up) and lead everyone in the oli before they descend. Some students will also be wearing Google Glass so you can get a students-eye view of the action. If you would like to add some questions for Matt use the Q&A app found in the top right hand of the feed. Also, feel free to post your classroom pictures here! And follow the pictures and chats on Twitter and Google+ with #volcanovft and #openglassroom Here is the oli: E Pele e Pele kaʻukaʻulī ana E Pele e Pele kaʻukaʻulī ana E Pele e Pele huaʻina huaʻina E Pele e Pele huaʻina huaʻina E Pele e Pele ʻoni luna ʻoni luna E Pele e Pele ʻoni luna ʻoni luna E Pele e Pele ʻoni lalo ʻoni lalo E Pele e Pele ʻoni lalo ʻoni lalo E Pele e Pele a ʻo kulipeʻe nui E Pele e Pele a ʻo kulipeʻe nui Haʻina ka inoa no Pele la ea Ea la ea la ea, a i e a He inoa no Pele
